What changes on a high-rise job.
Replacing a window at height is a different job from replacing one at ground level. Three parts of the work change, and each one is planned before a crew goes up.
Access
Swing stages, suspended platforms, boom lifts, or interior deglazing, chosen per building. Roof anchors are inspected and a safety plan is filed before any rigging goes up.
Wind load and engineering
Glass is specified to the building's actual wind loads, heat-strengthened or tempered where required, with stamped engineering through Apollo Building Group when a project calls for it.
Public safety
Marked drop zones, overhead protection, and tool tethering on all elevated work, with pedestrian routes kept open and protected around the site.
Commercial questions, answered.
No. Occupied-building work is our specialty. Each suite is opened and sealed weather-tight the same working day, with written notice before every stage.
Yes. Commercial general liability and WSIB clearance certificates are available on request, ready to drop into your procurement file.
We do. Permits are part of the job, and projects that need stamped drawings are handled with our engineering partner, Apollo Building Group.
Usually, yes. The building envelope is a common element, so most changes need board consent. We provide the documentation your board needs to approve the work.
Manufacturer warranty on the systems plus our workmanship warranty, both in writing at closeout.
