Wind load at the top of a tower is nothing like the load at street level. Glass thickness, anchorage and framing are sized to the building’s actual calculated loads, not to a general specification.
The system is designed to drain, not only to seal.
No sealed joint stays perfect forever. A properly detailed system assumes water will get past the outer line and gives it a path back out, which is why flashing and drainage detailing matter more than the sealant bead.
Get the specification right at this stage and the building is quiet for thirty years. Get it wrong and it becomes a restoration project. A large share of tower replacement work traces back to decisions made during construction.

Yes. If the engineering is already done we build to those drawings. If it is not, shop and architectural drawings come through Apollo Building Group, the engineering firm we work with, so the work is stamped and meets building code.
On a new build the system is usually set by the drawings, and that gets confirmed at the site visit. We are an authorized installer for Regal Aluminum and Reynaers Aluminium, which is what keeps the manufacturer warranty on those systems intact.
Yes. Aluminium entrance systems, terrace doors and steel fire-rated doors are part of the same scope, with push-bar hardware, automatic openers and key-fob access control fitted at the same time.
